Mentoring

Testimonial from a Country Managing Director, Cadbury Schweppes plc

"The value is in having, as my mentor, someone who is not in any way involved in the issues. For example, when facing one situation, I was offered a completely objective view and helped to plan my response. The people who work with me, seeing that I was willing to  take on new approaches to leadership, have been encouraged to do the same."

7 Facets of the Art of Leadership (The Chiltern Oak Mentoring Programme)

Introduction

The 7 Facets in the Art of Leadership represent years of experience in training and developing leaders in a wide variety of situations and organisations.

Leaders do not come in one variety. Thus we have worked with many different leaders, each of whom is talented in different areas, and has usually developed a style of leadership in keeping with those talents.

We have found the 7 Facets outlined in our training material as being those that are essential to a broad ability to lead a variety of people through the necessary phases of personal and organisational development.
